Update

One of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make. My husband was placed in hospice care today, due to his aggressive cancer. He has touched the lives of many people and the love he has shared with so many. My best friend will always remain in my heart. I already know that prayers will be sent our way ,I ...will always love him for the person he is and how he has affected my life, in such a positive way.

I am so proud of your continued strength in the struggle you and Jim have been through. You have done everything in your power to support him. The continued love, respect and admiration for each other has been an inspiration to us all. I am here for you.
Loving you both,

I have learned so much about life, love, strength, and faith from both of you by reading Jim's blog. It has brought inspiration to me every day. On the days that he has not been able to write, I would read an older entry. My prayers are with your family and he will be missed.

God put you and Jimmy together for a very good reason. Bless you Barb for all you have given him even though the years were so short for the two of you. You did so much for each other and the decision to put him into a hospice center was a very brave one on your part. Paul and I will love you forever -- you will always be a part of our lives no matter what. That goes for Karen and Doug, Cristy, Jamis and Heather as well. We are here for you.

Our love to both of you at this very difficult time. Mom 2

Barbara,
You and Jim are in our prayers. I don't know of anyone who fought such a courageous battle as the two of you. God be with you and Jim.

Jimmy is a hero and an inspiration to all of us, always a fighter and never a complainer. I loved his writings about his faith and his respect for his parents. I also love how much you love each other. We love you and all your family dearly, Lyn and family.

Jim is so lucky to have you as a wife and soulmate. You and your family have made him feel so special. He told me recently, "I'm not the greatest but Barb loves me and thinks I'm special." These words are so true. You are an inspiration and his angel!!
